2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

2. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE






(a) Disconnect the wire harness clamp and mass air flow meter connector.






(b) Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.






(c) Loosen the hose clamp, unlock the 2 clamps and remove air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.
4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the throttle body connector.






(b) Disconnect the water by-pass hose and the No. 2 water by-pass hose.






(c) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and remove the throttle body assembly.






(d) Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
