INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the harness or connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:





If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the harness or connector.
(c) Remove the wire harness from the room light assembly.






(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the switch base.
(e) Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal B and the (-) lead to the light busbar.
OK:
The light comes on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
