SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

INSPECTION





1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)
(a) Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.






2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.






3. INSPECT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the A/C control Removal.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the warning lamp terminals and check warning lamp operation as shown in the table and illustration.
OK:





NOTICE:
- Apply protective tape to the battery leads to avoid contact with other terminals.
- Disconnect the battery's negative (-) terminal cable immediately after the light illuminates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the A/C control assembly.
