DTC B1183 SHORT IN D SQUIB (2ND STEP) CIRCUIT (TO B+)

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

The D squib (2nd step) circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly center, the spiral cable sub assembly and the horn button assembly.

This circuit actuates the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.

DTC B1183/22 is recorded when a short to B+ is detected in the D squib (2nd step) circuit.
