Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper

Removal Procedure





1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
3. Remove the push-in retainers from the fascia filler.




4. Remove the screws from the wheelhouse liner to the fascia.




5. Remove the push-in retainers from the bottom of the fascia to the impact bar.
6. Remove the fascia ends by pulling the fascia outward from the quarter panel brackets.
7. Slide the fascia rearward. Remove the fascia from the impact bar.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the rear fascia over the impact bar.
2. Firmly push the rear fascia ends into the quarter panel brackets.




3. Install the push-in retainers into the wheelhouse liner.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the screws to the rear fascia inner edge of the quarter panel.

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).





5. Install the push-in retainers into the fascia filler.
6. Lower the vehicle
7. Close the rear compartment.
