Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover to expose the shoulder belt fastener.
2. Remove the shoulder belt fastener and the shoulder belt.
3. Lower the rear seat back.
4. Route the shoulder belt out of the garnish molding at the access slot.
5. Remove the garnish molding assembly by pulling gently at the clip locations.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the garnish molding to the vehicle.
2. Install the garnish molding by pushing gently at the clip locations.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the rear seat shoulder belt to the garnish molding.

The fasteners to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).

4. Install the rear seat shoulder belt fastener cover.
5. Route the shoulder belt into the garnish molding at the access slot.
6. Raise the rear seat back.
7. Ensure proper operation of the rear seat shoulder belt.
