Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).




2. Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove hinge pillar molding. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement).




4. Remove the left and the right carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement (Carpet Retainer Replacement).




5. Remove the carpet retaining fastener from the driver side.
6. Observe the carpet cut under the right side of the HVAC module. Continue to cut the carpet enough to remove the carpet from the HVAC module.
7. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Cut the replacement carpet in the same location as the removed carpet.
2. Install the front carpet in the vehicle tucking the carpet under the HVAC module and under the shift rod. Make sure that the carpet is properly placed to prevent wrinkles.
3. Install the driver side carpet retaining fastener.




4. Install the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement (Carpet Retainer Replacement).




5. Install the hinge pillar. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement).




6. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement (Service and Repair).




7. Install the seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
