Check The Antenna Connection To The Roof







- Remove component: Mobile telephone antenna
- Clean the mobile telephone antenna mounting on the roof and the coaxial cable connection to the antenna.
- Mount the component: Mobile telephone antenna
- Check that the antenna base is properly screwed to the roof (grounded).












Take a resistance reading between
- 2 - Mobile telephone antenna
- - Good grounding point

The reading should be 0 Ohm - 2 Ohm

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the reading correct?

NO - Changing Components

YES - Final Check
