Fault symptoms
Heated front seat not working

Check the wiring
Touch the wiring harness at several different points and in different directions to reveal intermittent faults, breaks and short-circuits in the harness. Monitor the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic instrument during the test.

Fault diagnosis hints
Carry out the following checks:
1 Check that the fuses are intact and that power is supplied to the fuses.
2 Check that power is supplied to the seat heating pads.
3 Check that the switches are working.
4 Check that the sensors are giving reasonable values.
5 Check the wiring harness, connector and ground connections.
