Cars With An Undetonated Airbag




WARNING:
- Always disconnect the negative cable from the battery and wait 30 minutes before starting work on the airbag.
- Do not expose a car with airbag to extreme heat or a naked flame.
- Wear protective goggles and gloves when working on and handling a detonated airbag.
- Parts incorporated in the airbag system should never under any circumstances be removed from the car and fitted in another car.

Airbags are classed as pyrotechnical articles and should be handled and stored in accordance with the laws and regulations that are applicable in the country concerned.

Apart from the danger of personal injury, an undetonated airbag could cause damage or environmental pollution during the course of the scrapping and recycling process.

Scrap the airbag as described in the instructions.
