One of the tonneau cover latch microswitches does not show the same information as the potentiometer.

Condition

The information on the position of the tonneau cover received by the control module from the tonneau cover microswitches does not coincide with the information provided by the tonneau cover potentiometer.

Diagnostic Procedure





1 Connect an ISAT Scan Tool and read "TONNEAU LATCH".

Operate the tonneau cover so that both states of the microswitch (actuated/unactuated) are tested. Clear the trouble code if this is successful. Check that the code is not generated afresh.

2 If the microswitch or microswitches do not change state as above, check their mechanical operation. Change any defective microswitch.
