One of the hood stowage bag microswitches does not show the same information as the potentiometers.

Condition

The microswitches indicate that the hood stowage bag is not in its lower position at the same time as the main motor potentiometers indicate that the hood is down (open).

Diagnostic Procedure





1 Connect an ISAT Scan Tool and read "HOOD BAG", Lift up the hood stowage bag so that both states of the microswitch (actuated/unactuated) are tested. Clear the trouble code if this is successful. Check that the trouble code is not generated afresh.

2 If the microswitch or microswitches do not change state as above, check their mechanical operation. Change any defective microswitch.
