Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement).
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector (3).
4. Remove the 2 wiper motor assembly bolts (1).
5. Remove the wiper motor assembly (2) from the vehicle.
6. Remove the wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement (Service and Repair).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the wiper motor transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Position the wiper motor assembly (2) to the cowl.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

3. Install the 2 wiper motor assembly bolts (1) and tighten to 5.5 Nm (48 lb in).
4. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector (3).
5. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement).
