Rear Seat Center Retractor Side Belt Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
2. Remove the rear seat belt retractor lower anchor bolt (1).
3. Remove the right rear seat back panel. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Left) (Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Left))Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Right) (Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Right)).




4. Remove the seat belt cover cap (1).




5. Remove the seat belt hole cover (1).
6. Pull seat belt lower anchor through rear seat back.




7. Remove the rear seat center belt retractor bolt (1) and the rear seat center belt retractor (2).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the rear seat center belt retractor (2) to the seat back. Secure the retractor with the mounting bolt (1).

Tighten the rear seat belt retractor mounting bolt to 42 Nm (31 lb ft).

2. Install seat belt lower anchor through seat back.
3. Pull seat belt lower anchor through rear seat back.




4. Install the seat belt hole cover (1).




5. Install the seat belt cover cap (1).




6. Install the rear seat belt retractor lower anchor bolt (1).

Tighten the rear seat belt retractor lower anchor bolt to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).

7. Install right rear seat back cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Left) (Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Left))Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Right) (Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Right)).
8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
