Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve and Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Loosen the hose clamp (1) and remove the vacuum hose from the check valve (2).
2. Remove the check valve from the booster (4).
3. Remove the check valve grommet (3) from the booster.
Discard the grommet.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW check valve grommet (3) to the booster (4).
2. Install the check valve (2) to the booster.
3. Install the vacuum hose to the check valve.
4. Install the hose clamp (1) in order to retain the vacuum hose to the check valve.
