Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the headlining trim finish panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the sunroof actuator electrical connector.

Note: Remove the sunroof actuator with the motor in the fully closed position.

3. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 3 bolts (2)
* The sunroof actuator (1)

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the sunroof actuator (1) to the vehicle. Secure the actuator with the 3 bolts (2).

Tighten the sunroof actuator bolts to 5.5 Nm (49 lb in).

2. Connect the sunroof actuator electrical connector.
3. Install the headlining trim finish panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
