Rear Compartment Lid Latch Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the luggage compartment.
2. Remove the luggage compartment rear trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Notchback) (Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Notchback))Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback) (Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback)).
3. Remove the bolts that secure the lock striker.
4. Pull the lock striker out.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the lock striker with the bolts and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
2. Instal the luggage compartment rear trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Notchback) (Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Notchback))Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback) (Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement (Hatchback)).
