Fascia Grille Replacement - Front Bumper - Upper

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front bumper fascia (1). Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper) .
2. Apply masking tape around the grille to protect the paint and fascia.

Important: If the upper fascia grille is to be reused, take care as the speed nuts can cut into and break the lugs during removal.


3. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the rectangular speed nuts (2) attaching the upper fascia grille (3) to the front bumper fascia (1).
4. Release the grille tabs (4) from the front bumper fascia (1) and pull out upper fascia grille (3).
5. Remove the front bumper upper fascia grille (3) from the front bumper fascia (1).
6. Remove the upper grille emblem, if necessary. Refer to Emblem Replacement - Grille (Emblem Replacement - Grille) in Exterior Trim.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the upper fascia grille (3) to the front bumper fascia (1).
2. Press the upper fascia grille (3) until the grille tabs (4) are fully seated.
3. Install the rectangular speed nuts (2) attaching the upper fascia grille (3) to the front bumper fascia (1).
4. Remove the protective tape from around the grille.
5. Install the front bumper fascia (1). Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper) .
6. Install the grille emblem, if removed. Refer to Emblem Replacement - Grille (Emblem Replacement - Grille) in Exterior Trim.
