Front Bumper Fascia Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front license plate bracket, if equipped. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) in General Information.
3. Remove the front bumper valance panel, if equipped. Refer to Front Bumper Valance Panel Replacement ().




4. Remove the front bumper fascia upper screw (2) from each side of the fascia (1).




5. Remove the lower screw (2) from each side of the front bumper fascia (1).




6. Remove 2 screws (2) that retain the front bumper fascia bracket (1) to the fascia.




7. Loosen the front bumper impact bar bolt (1) from each side of the fascia (2).




8. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 2 bolts (2) which secure the front bumper fascia
* The front bumper fascia (1)




9. Remove the following components from the front bumper fascia, if necessary:

* The 5 screws (2) which secure the front bumper impact bar
* The front bumper impact bar (1)

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front bumper impact bar (1) to the front bumper fascia, if removed. Secure the impact bar with 5 screws (2).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front bumper fascia (1) to the vehicle. Secure the fascia with 2 mounting bolts (2).

Tighten the front bumper fascia mounting bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




3. Tighten the front bumper impact bar bolt (1) at each side of the fascia (2).

Tighten the front bumper impact bar bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




4. Install 2 screws (2) that retain the front bumper fascia bracket (1) to the fascia.




5. Install the lower screw (2) to each side of the front bumper fascia (1).




6. Install the front bumper fascia upper screw (2) to each side of the fascia (1).
7. Install the front bumper valance panel, if equipped. Refer to Front Bumper Valance Panel Replacement ().
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Install the front license plate bracket, if equipped. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement (Service and Repair).
