Traction Active Indicator Always On





Circuit Description
The Traction Active indicator is controlled by the instrument cluster via serial data messages from the EBCM. When the TCS is active for 3 seconds, the EBCM commands the instrument cluster to turn ON the Traction Active indicator.
The Traction Active indicator will also turn ON during the instrument cluster bulb check. When the ignition switch is turned to ON, the Traction Active indicator will turn on for approximately 3 seconds and then turn OFF.

Test Description
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
2. Use the scan tool to check the normal state of the Traction Active indicator control.
3. Ensures that the instrument cluster can operate the Traction Active indicator.
