Assist Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Disengage the assist handle end cap covers (2).
2. Remove the fasteners (1) from the assist handle (3).
3. Remove the handle assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the assist handle (3) in the headliner.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fasteners (1) in order to secure the assist handle.

Tighten the fasteners to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

3. Snap the end cap covers (2) into position.
