Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp Does Not Come On When Ignition Switch Is Turned On
NOTE:
The Signal Tech II Tool (J-50190) can be used to perform the following functions. Refer to the Signal Tech II
User Guide for additional information.
- Activate and display TPMS transmitter IDs
- Display tire pressure reported by the TPMS transmitter
- Read TPMS DTCs
- Register TPMS transmitter IDs
1. SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULT CHECK
Using CONSULT, check display contents in self-diagnostic results.
Is "CAN COMM CIRCUIT" displayed in the self-diagnosis display items?
YES- Malfunction in CAN communication system. GO TO Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.
NO- GO TO 2.
2. CHECK COMBINATION METER
Check combination meter operation. Self-Diagnosis Mode Of Combination Meter.
Inspection results OK?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Replace combination meter. Removal And Installation.
3. CHECK LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP
Disconnect BCM harness connector.
Does the low tire pressure warning lamp activate?
YES- Replace BCM. Service and Repair.
NO- Check combination meter operation. Self-Diagnosis Mode Of Combination Meter.
