Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair




REFRIGERANT LINES

Removal and Installation for Condenser


REMOVAL

1.Discharge the refrigerant. HFC-134A (R-134A) Service Procedure.
2.Remove the front grille. Service and Repair.
3.Remove the radiator. Component.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the core surface of the condenser and the radiator.
4.Disconnect the high-pressure flexible hose and the high-pressure pipe from the condenser.

CAUTION:
Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe and hose with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of contaminants.





5.Disconnect the refrigerant pressure sensor connector (1) and remove the refrigerant pressure sensor (2) from the liquid tank (3).
6.Remove the condenser bracket bolts.
7.Remove the condenser.

CAUTION:
Do not damage the condenser fins.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Do not reuse O-rings.
- Apply A/C oil to the O-ring of the high-pressure pipe, refrigerant pressure sensor, and high-pressure flexible hose for installation.
- When charging refrigerant, check for leaks. Checking Of Refrigerant Leaks.
