FRONT PILLAR GARNISH : Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
- When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic to prevent damage to the parts.
- Never damage the body.

REMOVAL

1.Remove instrument side panel. Refer to "INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL : Removal and Installation" Instrument Side Panel.
2.Remove front body side welt. Refer to "BODY SIDE WELT : Removal and Installation" Body Side Welt.
3.Remove front pillar garnish.





a.Disengage front pillar garnish fixing metal clip and clip with a remover tool (A) according to the numerical order 1
2 as shown in the figure.






b.Cut clip anchor portion.





c.Pull front pillar garnish forward the direction of the arrow, disconnect tweeter harness connector and then remove front pillar garnish.
NOTE:
Remove tweeter from front pillar garnish. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Tweeter.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Replace clip anchor with a new part after removal. Never reuse clip anchor.
- When installing, check in advance that clip and metal clip are accurately aligned with the holes on body side, and then install by pressing in.
