Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Always apply the parking brake before performing removal and installation.
1. Disconnect battery cable from negative terminal. Removal And Installation.
2. Shift the selector lever to "N" position.
3. Remove the center console. Removal And Installation.
4. Disconnect the CVT shift selector connector.
5. Shift the selector lever to "P" position.
6. Remove the key interlock cable from the CVT shift selector assembly. Removal And Installation (Without push starter system).
7. Remove the control cable from the CVT shift selector assembly. Removal And Installation.
8. Remove the CVT shift selector assembly.

INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.





- When connecting the control cable (1) to the CVT shift selector assembly (2), face the grooved surface of the rib (A) up and insert the control cable until it stops.
