SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The malfunction information related to A/T (Automatic Transaxle) is transferred from A/T control part of PCM.

Therefore, be sure to erase the malfunction information such as DTC not only in TCM (Transmission Control Module) but also PCM after the A/T related repair.

On Board Diagnosis Logic:

DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE: If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

TESTING CONDITION: Before performing the following procedure, confirm that the battery voltage is more than 10.5 V with the ignition switch "ON".

With CONSULT-II
1. Turn ignition switch "ON".




2. Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
3. Start engine and let it idle for at least 40 seconds.
4. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure" below.

With GST
Follow the procedure "With CONSULT-II" above.
