Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Testing and Inspection

IAC VALVE-(AAC VALVE):

1. Check resistance of the Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) valve with an ohm meter between terminals C and D. Resistance should be approximately 10 ohms.
2. Remove the valve and inspect the plunger for sticking.
3. Inspect the spring for breakage.
4. Replace the valve if it fails the above tests.
