DTC 16

Inspection Procedure: Code No.16 Power Supply System:

COMMENT: This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is output when the ABS-ECU power voltage or the valve relay power supply voltage is outside the standard value. Furthermore, if the voltage returns to normal, this DTC will not be output.

PROBABLE CAUSE:
- Malfunction of the wiring harness or connector.
- Malfunction of the ABS-ECU.
- Malfunction of the battery or generator.

CAUTION: If the battery voltage drops or rises during inspection, this code will be output as a current problem and correct diagnosis cannot be made. Before carrying out the following inspection, check the battery level and refill as necessary.
