DTC 44

1. Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" position, disconnect the negative battery cable and tape the terminal.

Caution: Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the battery cable before doing any further work.

2. Remove the floor console assembly.





3. Place a flat-tipped screwdriver against the lock spring at the lock lever notch and push the spring toward the unit.

Caution:
Do not use excessive force to raise the lock lever (green).

If the results of inspection of the SRS warning light drive circuit system are normal, the transistor inside the SDU is probably defective, so replace the SDU.
