HARNESS INSPECTION
OPERATION
The barometric pressure sensor is attached to the air flow sensor, detecting the barometric pressure and converting it to Voltage. According to the Voltage, ECU judges the altitude at which the vehicle is, and compensates the fuel injection amount to gain a suitable air fuel mixture, thus improving the driveability at high altitudes.
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
When it is troubled, it controls the fuel injection amount with the barometric pressure regarded as 760 mmHg. The driveability may become poor at high altitudes, but the trouble can hardly be felt at low altitudes.
