OPERATION

Integrated in the speedometer, the vehicle speed sensor converts the revolution speed (vehicle speed) of the speedometer gear in the transmission into digital signals and sends them to ECU.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

In case of a short-circuit or broken wire in the vehicle speed sensor circuit, the speed range is fixed at the 3rd speed in automatic vehicles
