61 31 011 - Removing and installing/replacing volute spring cassette





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove fixture for steering column stalk Removing and Installing/Replacing Fixture for Steering Column Stalk





Expand catches (1) and remove volute spring cassette (2) from fixture for steering column switch (3).





Replacement:
Break off turning lock (1) of new volute spring cassette (2).

Warning!
If the steering wheel is not reinstalled straight away, the new volute spring cassette (2) must be secured against turning with adhesive tape Removing and Installing/Replacing Fixture for Steering Column Stalk!
