Removing and Installing/Replacing Interlock Cable

32 32 170 - Removing and installing/replacing interlock cable





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove storage compartment 51 16 392 - Removing and installing/replacing storage compartment in instrument panel trim (driver's side)
- Remove lower section of steering column trim Removing and Installing/Replacing Lower Section of Steering Column Trim
- Remove center console 51 16 200 Removing And Installing Front Center Console.

After completing tasks adjust cable.





Release screw (1) and remove trim.





Release screw (1) and disconnect cable on interlock.

Installation:
Tightening torque 25 16 1AZ [1][2]Shifter A/T





Release retaining tab and remove cable from ignition switch by turning.





Disconnect cable from trim lug and remove.
