Flexplate

Removal

1. WARNING: Before servicing a vehicle equipped with a fire suppression system, depower the system by following the procedure in Fire Suppression System. Failure to follow the instructions may result in serious personal injury. Procedures

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - 4R70E/4R75E Removal.

3. Remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.

Installation

1. Position the flexplate and loosely install the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).





2. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - 4R70E/4R75E Installation.

3. WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with a fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to Fire Suppression System. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury. Description and Operation
