PINPOINT TEST AI: DTC U0164 - LOST COMMUNICATION WITH HVAC CONTROL MODULE (EATC)

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster sets DTC U0164 if data messages received from the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) module over the medium speed controller area network (MS-CAN) are missing. For a complete list of all network messages, refer to Information Bus (Module Communications Network).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Module communication
- Instrument cluster
