Test I: DTC B1065 - Radio Volume Cutback Circuit Short To Battery And B1066 - Radio Volume Cutback Circuit Failure

PINPOINT TEST I: DTC B1065 - RADIO VOLUME CUTBACK CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY AND B1066 - RADIO VOLUME CUTBACK CIRCUIT FAILURE

Normal Operation
The parking aid system is enabled when the ignition switch in the RUN position and when the vehicle is put into REVERSE (R). When the parking aid system is enabled, the audio system volume is cutback, allowing the 750 Hz variable warning tone is generated from a parking aid speaker to be clearly heard.

DTC B1065 (Radio Volume Cutback Circuit Short to Battery) - sets when the parking aid module senses a short to voltage on circuit CME05 (GN/BU).

DTC B1066 (Radio Volume Cutback Circuit Failure) - sets when the parking aid module senses an open or short to ground on circuit CME05 (GN/BU).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Parking aid module
