Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. NOTE: Lubricate the engine oil filter gasket with clean engine oil prior to installing.

Remove the engine oil filter.
^ To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-inch) and then rotate an additional 180 degrees.
3. Disconnect the engine oil pressure (EOP) switch electrical connector.
4. Remove the EOP switch.
^ To install, tighten to 14 Nm (10 lb-ft).
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Apply thread sealant with PTFE to the oil pressure sender threads.
