PINPOINT TEST A: DTCs B2900 AND P0630 - INCORRECT VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION

Normal Operation
The fire suppression module monitors the communication for a police package specific vehicle ID. If an unexpected condition or vehicle identification number (VIN) is detected, the fire suppression module stores DTC B2900 and/or P0630 in memory.

DTC B2900 (VIN Mismatch) - sets when the fire suppression module detects a VIN that is unexpected.

DTC P0630 (VIN Not Programmed or Incompatible - ECM/PCM) - sets when the fire suppression module detects an unexpected or un-programmed VIN.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- PCM configuration
- Controller area network (CAN) communication bus
- Fire suppression module
