Normal Operation
The central junction box (CJB) provides voltage to the multifunction switch through circuit 1039 (BK/YE). The voltage is then routed from the multifunction switch to the lighting control module (LCM) through circuit 385 (WH/RD). The LCM provides voltage back to the multifunction switch through circuit 44 (LB). When the multifunction switch is placed in the LH or RH TURN position, the voltage is routed to the LH or RH turn lamps.

DTC B1873 - sets when the LCM detects a short to ground on the turn/hazard power supply circuit from the multifunction switch.

Possible Causes

- Circuit 383 (RD/WH) open or short to ground
- Circuit 385 (WH/RD) open or short to ground
