Normal Operation
The fire suppression module is hardwired to the instrument cluster through circuit 2318 (LG/RD), and is grounded through circuit 1203 (LG/RD). If a fault occurs in the fire suppression system, a DTCs are set and the fire suppression module grounds circuit 2318 (LG/RD) to illuminate the fire suppression system indicator. The fire suppression module connector is equipped with a shorting bar that will ground circuit 2318 (LG/RD) when the fire suppression module is disconnected to illuminate the fire suppression system indicator.
DTC B29B3 - is a continuous and on-demand DTC that sets if the fire suppression module detects an open or short to ground on the fire suppression indicator lamp (FSIL) circuit 2318 (LG/RD).
Possible Causes
- Circuit 2318 (LG/RD) short to ground
