Test C: One Low Beam Headlamp Is Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST C: ONE LOW BEAM HEADLAMP IS INOPERATIVEC1:
C2-C3:
C4-C7:
Normal Operation - Halogen Low Beams
When the smart junction box (SJB) receives input to turn the low beams on, the SJB provides voltage to the LH low beam through circuit 1338 (WH) and the RH low beam through circuit 1336 (LG/WH). Ground for the low beams is provided through circuit 1205 (BK).
Normal Operation - High Intensity Discharge (HID) Low Beams
When the smart junction box (SJB) receives input to turn the low beam headlamps on, the SJB provides voltage to the LH ballast through circuit 1338 (WH) and the RH ballast through circuit 1336 (LG/WH). Constant voltage is supplied by the battery junction box (BJB) to the LH ballast through circuit 1724 (WH/LG) and the RH ballast through circuit 1779 (DB/LG). Ground for the ballasts is provided through circuit 1205 (BK).

- Circuit 1338 (WH) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1724 (WH/LG) open
- Circuit 1779 (DB/LG) open
- Ballast
- HID bulb
- Headlamp assembly
- SJB
