Normal Operation
When any door, the decklid, or the liftgate is opened, the ajar switch opens the circuit to the smart junction box (SJB). The SJB monitors the ajar circuits, and based on the ajar status, the SJB will provide power to the interior lamps through the courtesy lamp relay.
Possible Causes
- Circuit 700 (WH/VT) short to ground
- Circuit 1312 (LG/BK) short to ground
- Circuit 1314 (YE/LG) short to ground
- Circuit 1742 (VT/LG) short to ground
- Circuit 1754 (RD) short to ground
- Door ajar switch
- SJB
