Normal Operation
The SJB supplies voltage to the lock relays (the lock all relay, the unlock driver door relay or the unlock all relay) based upon input from the door lock switches, the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter, or the RKE keypad. When the SJB supplies voltage to circuit CPL52 (VT/GY) RH front, LH rear, RH rear doors, CPL51 (BU/GN) LH front door and ground through circuit CPL11 (GY/BN), the door latches unlock the doors. When the SJB supplies voltage to circuit CPL11 (GY/BN) and ground through circuit CPL52 (GY/BN) RH front, LH rear, RH rear doors and circuit CPL51 (BU/GN) the door latches lock the doors
Possible Causes
- circuit CPL11 (GY/BN) open or short to ground
- circuit CPL51 (BU/GN) open or short to ground
- circuit CPL52 (VT/GY) open or short to ground
- door lock actuator (part of the door latch)
- SJB
