Test G: The Auto-Lock Does Not Operate Correctly

PINPOINT TEST G: THE AUTO-LOCK DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

G1-G5:

G6:

Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) receives voltage for the power locks on circuit 906 (RD/OG). The door lock actuators are powered through the SJB through fuse 3 (25A). The SJB energizes the lock or unlock relays based upon input from the ajar switches, the transmission range (TR) sensor, and the vehicle speed signal. The SJB energizes circuit 1763 (PK/BK) when it senses the doors are closed and the vehicle is in motion, and the door lock actuators lock the doors.

Possible Causes
- vehicle speed signal
- transmission range (TR) sensor
- door ajar switches
- SJB
