Normal Operation
When the smart junction box (SJB) receives an open request from the luggage compartment lid release switch or the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter, the SJB energizes circuit 84 (VT/YE) and the luggage compartment lid latch/liftgate latch is released.

Possible Causes
- luggage compartment lid release switch
- luggage compartment lid latch/liftgate latch
- circuit 84 (VT/YE) open or short to ground
- circuit 1092 (PK/OG) open or short to ground
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- SJB
