Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the speed control cable.
1 Disconnect the speed control cable from the throttle lever.
2 Detach the speed control cable from the bracket.
3 Position the speed control cable to one side.







2. Disconnect the air temperature sensor electrical connector.







3. Detach the cable from the securing clip.







4. Disconnect the actuator electrical connector.







5. Remove the actuator retaining bolt.







6. Detach the actuator.
7. Remove the outer cowl top vent panel/screen to allow removal of the actuator from the vehicle.







8. Remove the cable cap from the actuator.
1 Depress and hold the locking clip.
2 Turn the cap counterclockwise.







9. Remove the cable from the actuator pulley.
1 Release the cable locking spring.
2 Push the cable end out of the pulley slot.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
