Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List:
P1711 Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor out of on-board diagnostic range.
P0713 TFT sensor circuit open.
P0712 TFT sensor circuit shorted.
P1783 transmission overheating indicated.
P1713 TFT sensor circuit failure.

NOTE: This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the TFT sensor electrical system only. To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following areas may be at fault:
- Engine.
- Cooling.
- Electrical.
- Battery, wiring harnesses.
- Transmission.
- Internal transmission components, cooling, fluid.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following components:
- Transmission wiring harness.
- Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
