Air Bag System Reconnect Checklist

The checklist below should be completed following diagnosis or repair of any air bag system concern:

1. Are both crash sensors connected and mounted to the vehicle? [ ]

2. Is the safing sensor connected and mounted to the vehicle? [ ]

3. Is the three-way connector at the base of the steering column connected? [ ]

4. Are the air bag modules or air bag simulators connected? [ ]

5. Is the air bag diagnostic monitor connected? [ ]

6. Is the vehicle battery connected? [ ]
