Brake Pedal Assy: Adjustments
BRAKE PEDAL ADJUSTMENT- HEIGHT1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Delete.:
2. Disconnect the brake-on-off (BOO) switch electrical connector.
3. Loosen the (B) locknuts and turn the (A) BOO switch until it does not contact the brake pedal.
Brake Pedal/Push Rod. Height Adjustment:
NOTE: Pedal height should be 193-196mm (7.60-7.72 inches)
4. Loosen the (A) locknuts and turn the (B) rod to adjust the height of the brake pedal.
5. Tighten the BOO switch until it contacts the brake pedal and then turn it an additional 1/2 turn.
6. Check the brake pedal to floor height.
7. Tighten the lock nuts.
8. Connect the BOO switch electrical connector.
9. Connect the battery ground cable.
10. Verify operation of the stoplamps.
11. Verify operation of the brake system.
