Piston Pin Fit






1. Check the outside diameter (OD) of the piston pin and record. If not 21.011-21.013 mm (0.8272-0.8273 inch) replace pin.





2. Check the inside diameter (ID) of the pin bore in the piston and record. If not 21.008-21.012 mm (0.8270-0.8272 inch) replace piston.





3. Check the inside diameter (ID) of the pin bore in the connecting rod and record. If not 21.018-21.032 mm (0.827-0.828 inch) replace connecting rod.
4. Replace any piston pin or connecting rod that is not within specification.
5. Subtract the piston's piston pin bore from the piston pin diameter.
Clearance/Interference: -0.005 to +0.001mm (0.0001-0.00003 inch).

6. Subtract the connecting rod's piston pin bore from the piston pin diameter. The difference is the clearance.
Standard: 0.004-0.020 mm (0.0001-0.0007 inch).
Service Limit: 0.035 mm (0.0013 inch).


7. Replace any component that is not within specification.
